How can I be part of Beta testing Flint?
You can join a beta testing campaign or sign up to a city waitlist. Once there are enough people in your area for match testing, you’ll get early access to the app. As a beta tester, you’ll help shape Flint’s features and user experience by sharing your insights and feedback.
What is the Matchmaking Pilot?
The 2-month Matchmaking Pilot is for selected intentional singles who want to try a new way to meet people and help shape the Flint app. This pilot is now closed for new members.
Do I have to pay to be part of the Beta testing?
No, during the first Beta testing phase, there are no costs for matching or using the app. The currently Beta phase will run until March 2026.

What makes Flint different from dating apps?
Flint is an Intentional Connection App, that uses personal insights and AI to help you find love intelligently.

In relationship mode, unlike dating apps, it stays with you as you build towards commitment (coming soon).

What does it mean to Pay-to-Connect?
Flint uses a pay-to-connect model, uou don’t pay a subscription for endless access. You invest when you’re ready to connect, after sending an introduction video and the feeling is mutual. There are no payments in the Beta testing phase.
What will Flint learn about me?
Flint learns from your reponses, reflections, and how you connect.
Through your answers, choices, and feedback, it builds a picture of your personality, values, and relationship preferences. The more you interact, the smarter your personal AI matchmaker becomes, helping you find someone who truly fits.
How does matching work?
Yes. It’s part of what makes Flint intentional. Before you connect, you both record a short introduction so the first step feels human, not passive.
Do I have to record a personalised introduction?
You complete discovery games that reveal your non-negotiables, values, attraction style and more. Flint uses those insights to find you one value-aligned match at a time.
When a match is found, you’ll see your Alignment Insights and get to learn more about them. If you like them, you start by recording a short personal introduction.
If the feeling is mutual and you choose to connect, you Pay-to-Connect and unlock a 5-day chat window to arrange a real-life date.
When will the app be on the app stores?
Flint is currently in beta and available as a web app for early users. The full mobile version will launch on the App Store and Google Play in 2026.
How does Flint verify users?
Currently during Beta testing, all users are human verified. This means that each user has spoken to a member of the Flint team on a video call or met them personally in real like to confirm who they are. Anyone who joins the app who is not verified will not be able to enable matching.
How do you prevent online ghosting?
Flint is designed to reduce it. One match at a time, video introductions, and the Pay-to-Connect model, all encourage real intent.
When people choose to invest, they’re more likely to continue to show up.
Structured 5-day chat windows and prompts also encourage action and to move things to real-world quickly.
What if I feel unsafe or uncomfortable?
You can report or block anyone instantly. Reports are reviewed seriously and accounts can be suspended or removed where necessary.
