By accessing or using the Flint website, app, or attending any Flint event, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
To use Flint, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we believe someone has provided false information or violated our community standards.
3. Account and Registration
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
Keeping your information accurate and up to date
Any activity that happens under your account
We may suspend or deactivate accounts that appear fake, harmful, or inactive for extended periods.
4. Use of the Service
Flint is designed to help people explore self-awareness, find compatible matches, and connect at events. You agree to:
Use the app respectfully and lawfully
Not harass or harm other users
Not impersonate others or provide misleading information
Not attempt to access or scrape data from our systems
5. AI, Matchmaking & Automated Suggestions
Flint uses quizzes, games, and user behaviour to assist in generating compatibility insights. While these tools are designed to enhance your experience:
No match is guaranteed
Final connection decisions are always yours
You may opt out of automated matchmaking by disabling it in your settings
You can request a human review of significant decisions
6. Events and In-Person Activities
By signing up for a Flint event, you agree to:
Participate respectfully and responsibly
Follow any age, location, or identity requirements for the event
Accept that your image may be captured in photos or video, and inform the organiser if you’d like to opt out
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who violates our community guidelines.
7. Payments
Payments for premium features, matches, or events are processed securely via Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to:
Pay all applicable fees
Provide valid payment details
Review event or match-related refund terms, which may vary by type
We do not store full card details, and refunds (if applicable) are subject to the terms provided at the point of purchase.
8. Communications
By using Flint, you agree to receive essential service-related messages (e.g., account updates, match notifications). You can opt out of promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or your settings.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Flint if:
You violate these terms
You behave in a way that endangers others, yourself, or the community
You misuse the platform or attempt to manipulate matches
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and designs associated with Flint (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Fifi Mason Ltd. You may not copy, distribute, or modify content without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Flint provides compatibility tools and events to help people meet—we do not guarantee relationships, outcomes, or compatibility. We are not liable for:
Any loss, damage, or injury resulting from user interactions (online or offline)
The accuracy of user-provided content
Interruptions or bugs in the service
You use the service at your own risk and should take appropriate safety precautions, especially when meeting others in person.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. We’ll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Your continued use of Flint confirms your acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
